Dr. Sai Ganesh Medical Centre was established in 2004 under Dr. Sai Ganesh Pillai, the chairman of Dr. Sai Ganesh Medical Group.
Dr. Sai Ganesh Pillai, MBBS, MS (General Surgery), FRCS (Edin), FRCS (Glasg), is a Consultant in General and Laparoscopic Surgery. He is currently consulting in our Sharjah Branch located in Rolla Square.
During his career, he has performed more than 15000 major surgeries, including, Thyroidectomies, Appendicectomies, Hernioplasty, Laparoscopic, Cholecystectomy, Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy & more complicated ones like Esophagogastrostomy & Laparoscopy-assisted abdominoperineal resection.

Dr. Sai Ganesh Pillai, MBBS, MS (General Surgery), FRCS (Edin), FRCS (Glasg), is a Consultant in General and Laparoscopic Surgery. Dr. Sai Ganesh Pillai did his graduation & post graduation in Trivandrum Medical College, Kerala, India.
After post-graduation, he was trained in Surgical Gastroenterology and laparoscopic, surgery in England. During his training in England, he obtained his fellowship from Edinburgh & Glasgow in 1997.
In recognition of his excellent performance in the fellowship exam and his dedicated work as a registrar, The Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow offered him a traveling fellowship. This enabled him to travel to France, where he was trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery by Mr. Marasco, one of the pioneers of laparoscopic surgery. Dr Sai Ganesh has also worked with doyens of surgery like Mr. Alfred Cuschieri.
During his 10 years tenure in England, he has worked in prestigious institutions like Bristol Royal Infirmary, Royal Hospital, Chesterfield, Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, Nine Wells Hospital and medical school, Dundee where he worked in Surgical Gastro, Surgical Oncology, Microvascular Surgery, Cardiac Surgery and Thoracic Surgery departments.
Presently he has a chain of clinics in Dubai and Sharjah.
