WHAT IS GINGIVITIS?
Inflammation of gum is Called gingivitis. it occurs when plaque or bacteria accumulates on the teeth. An extremely common, early, and treatable form of periodontal disease. But if gingivitis is untreated, it can lead to severe inflammation and infection of the gums, teeth, and small periodontal ligaments that link your teeth to the bone and the tooth socket. HOW TO PREVENT GUM DISEASE?
Brushing two times a day with fluoride tooth paste
Use dental floss to clean plaque between teeth at least once a day
Use of antiseptic mouth rinse.
Eat healthy diet.
Quit smoking.
Avoid tobacco use.
Schedule regular dental checkups and cleaning.
